Technical Certifications

UC System Installer (UCSI)

In this ShoreTel Connect ONSITE academy, learn to install and configure a ShoreTel Unified Communication Solution. You study different components of the ShoreTel Unified Communications Solution and then install and configure the base UC system, including installing the ShoreTel software and configuring hardware. Using ShoreTel Director, configure system parameters, sites, servers, switches, PSTN trunks, phones, and users. Learn how to perform system backups, restorations and a test plan to verify the system is properly installed.

UC System Programmer (UCSP)

In this ShoreTel Connect ONSITE academy, learn to implement the solutions design of a ShoreTel Unified Communications system. Learn the basics of database collection and importing DB User records. Using ShoreTel Director, with a solid understanding of available user features, options and system limitations, you implement the call flow plan according to the customer’s requirements. Training includes choosing the best call control feature to provide optimum solutions as well as implementing advanced user features. Learn how to perform system backups, restorations and create a test plan to verify that the system design is functional. Additionally, learn to train end users and system administrators once the system is implemented.

UC Support Engineer – Tier 1 (UCSE)

In this ShoreTel Connect ONSITE academy learn about the customer’s network readiness requirements for deploying the ShoreTel system components and solution architecture. Learn about ShoreTel products and virtualization, 3rd party SIP phones, and configuring tie-trunks to 3rd party PBXs. Also learn to integrate ShoreTel applications, collaboration and fax solutions. Additionally, learn to isolate system issues using troubleshooting utilities and what information to collect when escalating problems to ShoreTel TAC.

ShoreTel Connect Contact Center System Installer (CCSI)

In this ShoreTel Connect ONSITE academy, learn to install and complete the initial configuration for a ShoreTel Connect Contact Center solution. You install and configure Contact Center applications on a Distributed Voice Server, establish inbound and outbound routing from/to the ShoreTel Connect UC system through route points and validate the basic operations and licensing of the Connect Contact Center application. Through a combination of lectures, lab and self-paced activities, learn to perform the necessary tasks for a successful Connect Contact Center implementation.

Through a combination of lectures and labs build on your Contact Center installation and programming knowledge to resolve common system issues, interpret diagnostics, configure failover scenarios and set up redundant systems. Also learn how to perform system backups, restorations and develop a deeper knowledge of reporting.

ShoreTel Connect Mobility System Installer (SMSI)

In this ShoreTel Connect ONSITE certification academy, learn to install and configure the ShoreTel Connect Mobility solution for ShoreTel Connect Unified Communication systems. Through a combination of lectures and labs, learn to perform the necessary tasks for a successful Connect Mobility implementation.

ShoreTel Connect Mobility Support Engineer (SMSE)

In this ShoreTel Connect ONSITE academy, learn how to maintain and support a ShoreTel Connect Mobility solution. A review of call flow scenarios including inbound and outbound calls, call handovers, conferencing and voice mail is covered. Through a combination of lectures and labs, using diagnostic tools, learn to troubleshoot common issues escalated to ShoreTel TAC. With hands-on practice labs use tools for monitoring and maintaining the ShoreTel Mobility system components. The practice labs also cover network troubleshooting commands, monitoring users, the Text Dialer and Packet Capture Tools. Learn to interpret the Client and Mobility Router Logs, review and resolve client, call routing and system issues. Also, learn how to backup and restore the system.
