ShoreTel CSTA Server brings true Microsoft Lync 2013 integration to the ShoreTel platform with Microsoft Lync 2013 CSTA. This enables end users in organizations that have already deployed Microsoft Lync to continue using Microsoft Lync, while taking advantage of the rich functionality in the ShoreTel UC system.
 
ShoreTel Communicator for IBM Sametime enhances Sametime Connect by making it easy to work with voice calls from your desktop. It provides features that are commonly available from your telephone and additional features that enable advanced communications.
 
Features to work with voice mail within Sametime Connect are also provided by ShoreTel Communicator for Sametime. This includes information on your voice messages and the ability to listen and reply to,create, and manage voice mails.

Features

ShoreTel CSTA Server - Microsoft Lync 2013

  • Remote Call Control: Once integrated with the ShoreTel UC system through the ShoreTel CSTA Server, the Microsoft UC client can control any telephone (analog or IP) connected to the ShoreTel system and trigger telephone calls by clicking on the contact name in the Microsoft UC client.  Also supports Lync screen popup for incoming Shoretel calls.
  • Telephony Presence: A Microsoft UC user can now display telephony presence in addition to instant messaging (IM) status to all their contacts, including those in outside organizations federated with them. RCC-enabled Lync users can now “pin” their contacts and call them as soon as they receive notification that they have become available.
