ShoreTel Strengthens Investment in India with Country Manager Appointment

BANGALORE – January 11, 2016 – ShoreTel® (NASDAQ: SHOR), the leading provider of brilliantly simple phone systems and unified communications (UC) solutions, announced today the appointment of Arun Balasubramaniam as country manager of India.

In his role, Arun is responsible for building relationships and driving sales for ShoreTel in India. He is overseeing sales strategy from customer acquisition to retention, as well as partner recruitment and management in the region.

Arun brings more than 16 years of technology industry experience having worked extensively with leading government, banking, telecommunications and information technology enterprises and channel partners throughout India and South Asia. Prior to joining ShoreTel, Arun was the national channel leader for IBM’s Collaboration Solutions business in India and South Asia, and has also held roles at TrendMicro and Microsoft.

Arun holds an MBA in marketing and finance and is based in ShoreTel’s Bangalore office.
