SUNNYVALE, CA, January 23, 2007 - ShoreTel, Inc., a leading provider of IP telephony solutions worldwide, today announced the selection and successful implementation of its award-winning IP telephony solution at the Tiger Woods Foundation (TWF) and the Tiger Woods Learning Center (TWLC), a 14-acre youth-education facility located in Anaheim, Calif. ShoreTel's technology is delivering the reliability, accessibility and manageability that the organization's IT department requires of its enterprise IP communications.

The ShoreTel system was installed by channel partner inhouse IT at the Foundation's new office. inhouse IT performed a flawless installation, replacing an antiquated hybrid phone system that could not support the organization's growth or the staff's need for unified communications. Trillion, another ShoreTel partner, orchestrated the initial installation at the TWLC in Anaheim.

"From an administrative perspective, we found ShoreTel's system exceptionally flexible and easy to administer. Their distributed architecture allows us to map the system to our workflows as opposed to adapting our workflows to the technology," said Kathy Bihr, executive director of the Tiger Woods Learning Center. "ShoreTel phones are incredibly intuitive, and that makes it easy to implement and easy for non-technical users to ‘get the hang of' incorporating the features into their daily routines. Many of our staff are busy in the field with charity and related events. ShoreTel's ‘Find-Me Follow-Me' solution and the convenience of being able to retrieve voicemail as an email attachment have proven very handy to these folks."

The teachers at the TWLC are also benefiting from ShoreTel's IP PBX solution. For example, the administrative tool, Extension Manager, allows for on-the-fly moves of their extensions, enabling the TWLC's teachers to easily move about campus while staying "close" to their phones. Other benefits of ShoreTel's system include customization of ShoreTel's hunt-group capabilities for improved management of call flow.
