The ARN (Australian Reseller News) Women in ICT Awards recognize and celebrate female executives in the ICT Channel, and in 2014, ShoreTel’s Ashley Doyle is a finalist in the Rising Star Category.

It’s my honour and pleasure to introduce Ashley to you, and to tell you a little about why she’s been short listed this year and how she is contributing not just to ShoreTel’s growth in the APAC region, but also the ICT industry as a whole.

Ashley started her career in ICT in 2010 when she joined ShoreTel in Sydney as an inside sales manager. She was quickly promoted and relocated to Melbourne in the role of Southern Region Area Sales Manager, delivering a 35% QonQ growth during ShoreTel’s FY12 fiscal period and her first trip to President’s Club. (Apparently Costa Rica was quite the adventure.)

Ashley was then handed Australia’s Western Region – which was a green field territory for ShoreTel, without the support of either a solutions architect or a client sales team, and while based in Sydney. (This is like being responsible for California, but based in New York - lots of transcontinental travel.) By working very closely with a new set of partners, she developed a strong market footprint within the not-for-profit and local government organisations, and again exceeded her quota.

In her time with ShoreTel, Ashley has also performed a stint as a Partner Development Manager, and then at the start of FY15 in July, she started in yet another new role, as the ANZ Distribution Manager. Ashley’s attention to detail and her ability to organize and prioritize will mean that she’ll bring a discipline to this role that we know will ensure her and ShoreTel’s success in the region.

The winners of the ARN Women in ICT Awards will be announced at a lunch on the 27th November in Sydney, and I am looking forward to seeing Ashley’s name up in lights. She’s an asset to ShoreTel and an inspiration to all women who work in our very male dominated industry. Congratulations Ashley!
