ShoreTel Wins in Vegas - Success at Interop 2011

ShoreTel was the safest safe bet in Vegas at Interop 2011 – two product launches, a packed house in our private celebration and the coolest tradeshow booth, with live demonstrations of ShoreTel solutions.

Interop draws thousands of IT professionals to see the latest innovations in unified communications solutions. ShoreTel’s booth caught the attention of attendees to our live theatre presentation and demonstration stations. We selected Interop for the global launch of ShoreTel 12 – our most prominent UC release to date, with new integrated instant messaging, conferencing and desktop collaboration and capacity to serve up to 20,000 users. We also launched Contact Center 7 – with many enhancements for enterprise contact centers, including individual agent queues and increased capacity across the board, all functionally integrated in ShoreTel Director for administration, and ShoreTel Communicator for agent functions.

And what a launch it was! We kicked off the show with a brand new live theatre presentation involving several audience members as we demonstrated our ShoreTel Mobility solutions with iPads, BlackBerry and other devices. Not to mention ShoreTel Mobility with Cisco, Avaya and ShoreTel PBXs in our booth. And we didn’t even need to call Cisco or Avaya tech support once during the show. The demonstration closed with a cool collaboration experience showcasing our brilliantly simple solutions. Guests received gift cards from Panera Bread, just one of the many ShoreTel customers around the world.

For our account team, we held executive meetings with CEO Peter Blackmore in a private suite on the show floor. It was a great opportunity to meet the ShoreTel team, hear about our solutions and close deals. And when you’re in Vegas, it’s only fashionable to have an invitation only celebration reception with a packed room sharing in our success. This was by far our busiest show to date, with a record number of customer engagements, meetings, launches and demonstrations. And it was simply perfect from start to finish in the ShoreTel style.

The only other sure thing was to bet on the several numbers at Roulette – Release 12, Contact Center 7, 17 thousand customers, 31 percent of licenses greater than 500, and one amazing time in the city that never sleeps. (That is until the Thursday evening after the show!) On to the next one!
