ShoreTel and Everyday Life…

So I was thinking the other day ShoreTel is essentially an IP-PBX manufacturer, switches, applications and phones, it’s all we make! How can that impact someone’s everyday life if they are not physically using something we make…

I check my Twitter and LinkedIn accounts via my ARM enabled smart phone, I grab a West Country Pastie and a pack of Kettle Chips for lunch.

Spot an advertising hoarding (JCDecaux) for Amnesty International from the train and use my Monitise mobile banking app to make a donation. Also I wonder how many trucks Eddie Stobart has and how long it would take before they run out of names for them…

Get to my customers, log on to their Aerohive Wireless LAN and share some files with the IT team via Dropbox. Then it’s time to book a Flybe flight with Portman Travel and travel insurance with Brightside.

Reading about the World Series champions San Francisco Giants on the train home, then in the evening watch Sale Sharks playing rugby on the TV, while eating a Domino’s Pizza as a treat, after reading a review on Yelp. I also catch an interview with the chairman of the Professional Footballers Association talking about his sport.

So where does ShoreTel fit?

All of the above are ShoreTel customers, so in some way millions of people use ShoreTel they just don’t know it and it a way that’s a great thing as it means our solution is doing its job.
