Observations from the 3rd Annual Tribal Telecommunications Conference

Tribal Telecom 2014 was held this week at Wild Horse Pass Hotel on the Gila River Indian Community near Phoenix, Arizona.  ShoreTel has been in attendance the past three years and continues to support Tribal Nations across the US in building their technology plans for the future. This event brings together Native American leaders with information and communications technology industries.  As a conference attendee, ShoreTel had the opportunity to explore the possibilities, pursue solutions and create new and specific commitments to action that advance telecom opportunities within tribal communities nationwide.

Showcased at the conference were our 400 series phones, ShoreTel Mobility as well as the ShoreTel Dock. Our booth was visited by many perspective customers looking for the right fit for their telephony needs. Discussions revolved around ShoreTel's new applications, mobility, contact center, our ShoreTel Sky cloud offering, and virtualized options.  There were many guest speakers in attendance as well as special guests Tom Udal, US Senator for New Mexico, and Stephen Roe Lewis, Lt. Governor to the Gila River Indian Community.

The Gila River Indian Community is a happy ShoreTel customer with an installation of more than 1400 phones within their three casinos. ShoreTel will continue to support the Tribal Telecom events and strengthen the relationships within the Tribal Communities across the country.
