Conservatree

Conservatree is a graphic design and print company based in Reading, England. With 16 employees, Conservatree has been designing and printing stationery, promotional literature, marketing collateral, books, reports, newsletters, posters, postcards, and leaflets for more than 14 years.

By 2006, Conservatree was ready to upgrade its voice communications system. The company had been leasing a system from 3Com for five years, but it was only as the contract reached the end of its life that Conservatree realised it would not own the telephone system at the end of the lease. Rather than renew with the vendor, the company decided to look elsewhere, as the cost of upgrading to IP using the same technology as their existing system would be prohibitive.

As a reasonably priced IP-based communications system that scales and grows as needed, ShoreTel met Conservatree’s criteria. With the help of local reseller Link-Connect, who had also been a client of the design firm, ShoreTel’s IP phone system was installed within three weeks of the order being placed. Beyond a reliable phone system and intuitive unified communications tools that anyone can use, Conservatree will own the ShoreTel IP Phones at the end of the three-year lease, a benefit it did not enjoy under its last supplier’s contract.
