The DV2000 hospitality system is a Windows XP Professional PC (or Server) which connects to the ShoreTel IP PBX via analog extension ports and a Simplified Message Desk Interface (SMDI) link. A TCP/IP interface to the ShoreTel IP PBX automates room telephone restriction upon check out and check in. Guest mailboxes are cleared of all messages and wake up calls automatically upon checkout. The DV2000 also includes a Web server (InnDesk) to provide hotel staff with a Web console for wake up calls.
