By providing a comprehensive certification process and a framework for communication, the Technology Partner Program assists companies in expanding their sales through relationships with ShoreTel’s leading-edge channel partners.

The ShoreTel Technology Partner Program (TPP) provides market and innovation leaders the opportunity to expand their reach by connecting directly with our growing community of channel reseller partners. We offer three levels of TPP membership:

Certified members have demonstrated and documented interoperability between the member’s solution and ShoreTel. Benefits include:

• Recognition for members’ solutions with ShoreTel’s channel partners and within ShoreTel
• Invitations to our marketing events
• Recognition as a Certified solution within our support organization
• Cross-linking on each others' Web sites
• Direct purchase of ShoreTel development systems

Partner Proven members have demonstrated successes with ShoreTel’s channel reseller partner community.

Customer Proven members are at the top of the Technology Partner Program having demonstrated and documented success with ShoreTel’s end-user customers.

Partner Proven and Customer Proven members may also receive the following benefits

• Marketing events designed to provide access to our field teams and channel partners
• Creation of case studies and success stories
• Advanced access to ShoreTel specific events including preferred placement and discounts

Steps toward Technology Partner Certification

The following is an overview. Please refer to the complete Technology Partner Program Guide (PDF) for detailed information.

1. Review the online ShoreTel Technology Partner Program documentation.
2. Submit your completed TPP Application.
3. You will receive a TPP Application Notification following TPP Application review.
4. Sign and mail the provided TPP legal documents following approval, together with the first year’s membership fees.
5. Once the TPP legal documents and fees are received you will be sent a TPP Welcome Kit.
6. Complete a TPP Welcome Call with the TPP Manager to the review TPP Guide, application, equipment needs, and TPP certification processes.
7. Optional: obtain a solution for your own internal lab use.
8. Schedule lab test time. Prior to testing you must provide a final test plan, equipment/product and a draft of the TPP application.
9. Once your product testing is completed, submit the documentation for posting to the ShoreTel Certified Partner Web site.
10. Recertification is required for each major release to maintain membership.

Steps toward Partner & Customer Proven Certification

The following is an overview. Please refer to complete Partner & Customer Proven Certification Steps (PDF) for detailed information.

1. Review the online Partner & Customer Proven Application online.
2. Submit your completed Partner & Customer Proven Application along with the reference questionnaire.
3. You will receive a Partner & Customer Proven level notification following review.
4. Following approval, you should work with the Partner and/or Customer Proven program to create a success story or press release.
5. Once finalized and approved, the success story or press release will be posted on the ShoreTel TPP Web site, and the member will be formally notified of Proven Certification.
